    On March 6, 2018, seven grant contracts for the implementation of the Grass-Roots Human Security Projects were signed in Chisinau as follows:
  1. “The Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Kindergarten for children with visual disability in Chisinau”;
  2. “The Project for Modernization of Medical Equipment in Stefan-Voda District Hospital”;
  3. “The Project for Modernization of First-aid Training Equipment in National Centre for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance”;
  4. “The Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Kindergarten of Capriana village”;
  5. “The Project for Modernization of Medical Equipment in Institute of Mother and Child”;
  6. “The Project for Modernization of Medical Equipment in Cahul District Hospital”;
  7. “The Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at lyceum in Soroca City”.
     
    Approximately 327,000 USD were disbursed for improving facilities at four medical institutions, and approximately 175,000 USD were granted to improve infrastructural environment at three educational institutions.

    It is expected that the implementation of these projects will contribute to the overall improvement of living standards in Moldova.
