Introducing the Official Character of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGHSP)
This is our official character of GGHSP, called KUSANONEKO.
This character appeared at Global Festa JAPAN 2017 exposition held in Tokyo, prior to the 30th anniversary of Grass-Roots Grant Assistance. The cute character holds a blade of grass in its paw and brings smiles to people around the world.
“Kusa” in Japanese means “grass” and “neko” means “cat.” Kusano-neko (Grass Kitty) is a play on the words from KUSANONE (Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects).
