Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment in Riscani District Hospital funded through the 2016 Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ‘Kusanone’

On May 3, 2017, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova Masanobu Yoshii visited Riscani in order to attend the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment in Riscani District Hospital funded through the 2016 Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ‘Kusanone’. Modern mobile radiography and anaesthetic machines were purchased with the Japanese Government’s grant of 84,125 USD. It is expected that all 60,000 residents of Riscani District will benefit from this project.
Approximately 60 persons, including the Chairman of Riscani District, attended the ceremony. The doctors who were present at the event repeatedly expressed their sincere gratitude for the assistance from Japan, noting that the hospital had a stringent necessity of new equipment, and that the installation of modern medical devices would significantly improve the quality of services to be provided to the patients.
