　On March 6, 2015, grant contracts for the “Project for Provision of Medical Equipment in Chisinau Municipal Maternity No. 2”, “Project for Provision of Medical Equipment for Donduseni District Hospital” and “Project for Provision of Medical Equipment for Nisporeni District Hospital” were signed at the Embassy of Japan within the framework of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects for the year 2014.
　In order to improve the medical environment in Moldova, around USD 275,000 was granted to three medical facilities under the above-mentioned projects. It is expected that provision of medical equipment to these district hospitals will contribute to the overall improvement of healthcare services provided to every citizen of Moldova.
