Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects （Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment in Balti Municipal Hospital）

　　On August 10, the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment, funded through Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ‘Kusanone’, took place at Balti Municipal Hospital. The ceremony was attended by the medical staff and hospital management, Deputy Mayor of Balti, and Ambassador of Japan Masanobu Yoshii. The Hospital benefited from a 120,555 USD grant from the Government of Japan, which allowed it to equip the pediatric surgical section with modern medical devices (surgical tables, lamps, sinks, dio-thermo-coagulation unit, radiological tube, sterilizer, etc.) essential for timely and qualitative surgical services.
