On May 17, the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment in Donduseni District Hospital, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme 'Kusanone', took place in the Donduseni District Hospital. The ceremony was attended by vice-director of the hospital, administer of the District Council Donduseni, Ambassador of Japan Masanobu Yoshii and medical staff. The Hospital benefited from 93,856 USD grant from the Government of Japan, which allowed it to equip the Hospital with modern medical devices (Colonoscope with videoendoscopic system, Ultrasonic diagnostic equipment, Biochemical automated analyser, etc.) essential for timely and qualitative intervention.
