Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects （Online Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at lyceum in Soroca City and the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Kindergarten of Capriana village）

 On November 24, the Online Handover Ceremony of the the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at lyceum in Soroca City and the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Kindergarten of Capriana village, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme 'Kusanone', took place. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Japan Katayama Yoshihiro, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research Natalia Griu, Vice-President of Soroca District Council Svetlana Paunescu, Mayor of Capriana Village Ion Scutaru, Director of Lyceum “Constantin Stere” in Soroca City Vasile Bas, and Director of Kindergarten of Capriana village Doina Radul. The Lyceum benefited from 39,079 USD and the kindergarten - 34,725 USD grants from the Government of Japan, which allowed the lyceum to renovate toilets and washbasins at canteens and to equip the kindergarten with modern cooking and laundry equipment, etc., and ensure comfortable and safe conditions of study for children and students.
