On February 26, the Online Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Pelinia Gymnasium and the Project for Improvement of Feeding Environment in Domulgeni Gymnasium, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme 'Kusanone', took place. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Japan Katayama Yoshihiro, Director of department of Education, Youth and Sports in Drochia District Ion Recean, Vice-President of Floresti District Council Gheorghe Gancear, Director of Pelinia Gymnasium Ion Babalau, Director of Domulgeni Gymnasyum Maria Vetricean, etc. These gymnasiums benefited from 75,037 USD (Pelinia Gymnasium) and 48,310 USD (Domulgeni Gymnasium) grants from the Government of Japan, which allowed Pelinia Gymnasium to renovate roof, sidewalk, etc., and Domulgeni Gymnasium to renovate cafeteria, kitchen and to equip with modern cooking equipment, etc., and ensure comfortable and safe conditions of study for students.
