On May 30, 2022 the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Musical School ”Maria Cibotari” of Cahul City, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ”Kusanone” was held. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova H.E. Mr. KATAYAMA Yoshihiro and the Mayor of Cahul City Mr. Nicolae DANDIȘ. The school benefited from an 89,285 USD grant offered by the Government of Japan, used for the renovation of the roof, thermal insulation of the building and repair works of the central heating system (installing 40 radiators and pipes). The project aimed at ensuring comfortable and safe conditions of study for children and teachers.
