Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Sanitary Environment at Lyceum in Hirbovat Village)

On September 1, 2022, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova H.E. Mr. KATAYAMA Yoshihiro was invited at the Ceremony dedicated to the beginning of school year 2022-2023 at the Lyceum in Hirbovat Village. The event also marked the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Sanitary Environment at Lyceum in Hirbovat Village, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ”Kusanone”. The lyceum benefited from an 89,492 USD grant offered by the Government of Japan, used for repair of sanitary blocks; renovation of changer rooms and shower cabins; installation of a sewage treatment plant; rehabilitation of the sewerage and aqueduct network; renovation works in the kitchen and canteen, etc. The project aimed at ensuring comfortable and safe conditions of study for children and teachers.
