On January 25, 2023 the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Kindergarten No.1 from the Village of Sireti, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ”Kusanone” was held.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova H.E. Mr. YAMADA Yoichiro, Mayor of Sireti Mr. Leonid BOAGHI, Head of the General Directorate of Education Straseni Ms. Lucia CACIUC and Member of Parliament. Ms. Angela MUNTEANU-POJOGA.
The kindergarten benefited from an 64,938 USD grant offered by the Government of Japan, used for the renovation of roof and ventilation system, installation of fire ladder, repair work of pavement and blind area (back side of building), purchase of equipment and furniture: automatic washing machine (1 unit), automatic drying machine (2 units), steam iron (2 units), bed for children (8 units on 3 levels) and mattress (8 sets), double closet for staff's luggage (13 units) and table for children (6 units).
The project aimed at ensuring comfortable and safe conditions for children, teachers and technical staff of the kindergarten.
