On February 8, 2023 the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Kindergarten in Tuzara Village, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ”Kusanone” was held.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova H.E. Mr. YAMADA Yoichiro, Mayor of Tuzara commune Ms. Ludmila BURGHELEA, Head of the Education, Youth and Sports Directorate Calarasi Ms. Elena GONTA.
The kindergarten benefited from an 67,437 USD grant offered by the Government of Japan, used for the renovation of the roof, blind area and thermal insulation of outer walls; windows replacement; repair of the electric system, walls and ceiling in the kitchen/cooking block, festive hall, methodological room, class room and isolation room; changing the heating system in the festive hall and class room. The project aimed at ensuring comfortable and safe conditions for children, teachers and technical staff of the kindergarten.
