Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects （Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Gymnasium in Mereseni Village）

On March 22, 2023 the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Educational Environment at Gymnasium in Mereseni Village, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme ”Kusanone” was held. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova H.E. Mr. YAMADA Yoichiro, Director of the gymnasium Ms. Larisa Buruiană, representatives of local authorities, teachers, students and their parents, etc. The school benefited from a 90,909 USD grant offered by the Government of Japan, used for installing energy efficient windows, repair of the sanitary blocks, renovation of the heating system, change of the electrical network in the gym and ventilation system in the food block. The project aimed at ensuring comfortable and safe conditions for children, teachers and technical staff of the institution.
