On November 1, the Handover Ceremony of the Project for Renovation of Public Institution Theoretical Lyceum "Mihail Sadoveanu" in Ocnita city, funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme 'Kusanone', took place. The ceremony was attended by the students, teachers and administration of the lyceum, H.E. Mr. YAMADA Yoichiro, Ambassador of Japan, Ms. Galina ZALEVSCAIA, Vice-President of Ocnița District Council, etc.
The school received a grant of 75,703 USD from the Japanese government. This grant enabled the renovation of the interior staircases, replacement of the access doors on each floor and the associated lighting system, etc.
