On June 9, the Handover Ceremony of The Project for Modernization of Water and Sewage System and Installation of Photovoltaic System in Telita Village funded through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme 'Kusanone', took place. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. TAKEUCHI Kazuyuki, Ambassador of Japan, Mrs. RUSSU Rodica, Mayor of the Telita Village, Director of the kindergarten and Primary school, and Residents and Children.
The Village Hall received 77,861 USD from the Japanese government. The fund was used to install Water and sewerage facilities (a complete set of automated water treatment systems, 18 distribution valves, a set of drinking water filtration equipment, and a set of wastewater treatment systems) and a solar power generation system (1 transformer and a set of solar panel equipment) in Telita village.
